I’ve had clients want to skip or downplay their brand launch and today, I’m sharing why I think brand launches are so important and how you can ensure that you have a super successful launch when it’s time!
A successful launch will…
Brand strategy work and the design process can be lengthy and it takes a lot of thought on both your part and mine. By crafting an intentional launch plan, it gets your hard work in front of as many eyes as possible.
Building excitement around a new brand launch is a great way to remind people of your services AND your values which may generate interest in your biz, encourage them to book, and wvwn increase your following.
Start sharing and hinting at what’s going to come 1-2 weeks before launch.Share with your email list, create a countdown on social media, and start sharing some posts.
I like to encourage my clients to start sharing some posts and stories about why they got started in their business, what shift happened to make them consider rebranding, and what the branding process has been like. While sneak peeks are okay (things like a look at a piece of your website, color palette, or moodboard), don’t share any of the collateral outright before launch day.
Generally, you want to avoid launching on the weekend or on holidays unless there is a specific reason to do so! We’re on our phones less during these times and it may reduce the number of people who see your posts or emails.
While it’s not always possible, I have had clients time their launch for occasions like their business anniversary or even their birthday! If there is a specific event your business is having, launching during that can be beneficial, too.
Consider celebrating your launch with a giveaway to generate even more excitement. This may look different depending on what your industry is – a wedding photographer probably isn’t going to want to give away wedding day coverage – but it doesn’t necessarily have to be YOUR service.
