You may be thinking, “does being consistent in my brand actually make a difference?”
Lemme tell you – YES! It absolutely does.
Consistency in branding helps create trust, fosters brand loyalty, and makes it easier for clients to connect with and remember a brand.
It can be overwhelming to keep track of all of the pieces of your brand and stay consistent in every channel but it is totally worth it. Swipe to see some areas you should strive to maintain consistency in.
Your website is one of the easiest ways to get off track when it comes to consistency in your brand. I often see mismatched fonts + templates that are changed way too much (but that’s another story!). It’s important to have a strong color and font palette that you are consistent with across the board. Your website is a great place to utilize any secondary logos or graphics that you use elsewhere.
Ideally, you’d have your brand designer create any print materials but should you create them yourself, make sure that you are consistent with color and font usage here, too.
This is another way to take your brand to the next level through consistency. By utilizing Canva, you can create on-brand stories, slides and promotional graphics.
Even in your email, you can stay consistent in colors + fonts. I love Flodesk for email, it makes it easy to stay on brand – you can upload your brand fonts + logos and add your color palette.
For areas like email and social media, I highly recommend saving yourself time by having templates in place with your colors, fonts, and layouts all set up. That way you can ensure that your logo is the same size in each email, each carousel looks the same, etc.
